From the Mat to the MovieS

The World Kobudo is Launching a Global Martial Arts Talent Spotlight
Identifying performers for international stages and film — led by Alain Moussi

Where It Started — And Where It Leads

Before stepping onto international film sets, Alain Moussi was a young martial artist performing on World Kobudo stages — learning discipline, presence, and what it meant to represent martial arts with professionalism.

Those early experiences shaped more than his technical skill. They shaped his understanding of performance — how martial artists communicate control, intensity, and precision beyond the mat.

Today, in collaboration with the World Kobudo Federation, Alain returns to those same stages with a new role:

To identify, elevate, and mentor the next generation of martial artists ready for international stages — including film.

One Global Path. Three International Spotlights.

From the Mat to the Movies is not a single event.

It is a global journey — beginning at local WKF schools and culminating on the international stage.

As part of this initiative, select participants may be invited to take part in a future martial arts motion picture project involving Alain Moussi.

Opportunities may be offered through two distinct paths:

1: Performance-Based Selection

Standout show performers at the 3 listed World Kobudo Events may be identified based on:

- Skill, control, and execution

- Presence and professionalism

- Readiness for high-level performance

Those selected may be invited to participate in future projects involving Alain Moussi, based on merit and suitability.

2: Participant Opportunity Selection

In addition, participants in official Alain Moussi in-school events may also be eligible for a random selection opportunity.

One or more participants may be invited to appear in a future motion picture project involving Alain Moussi, independent of performance ranking.

Step 1: The Global School Event Tour

Official WKF × Alain Moussi Events at Member Schools Worldwide

This is not just where the journey begins — it’s where schools gain leverage.

When a World Kobudo member school hosts an official Alain Moussi event, they don’t just bring in a guest instructor — they position themselves at the center of a global initiative.

This is not a typical seminar.

It’s a high-energy, immersive experience that students talk about long after it’s over — and schools are proud to host.

Expect:

  • Exciting, dynamic training that feels different from anything else

  • A rare chance to train with a real martial artist who performs at the highest level

  • An atmosphere that motivates students, inspires confidence, and creates momentum inside the school

  • Host schools also gain access to professional event tools and systems built specifically for this initiative — designed to turn excitement into measurable growth long after the event ends.

Accepted host schools may also receive a World Kobudo Federation financial sponsorship as part of their event participation.
